Marmot Fortress 2P 3-Season Backpacking Tent

The Marmot Fortress 2P tent takes a time-tested, popular 2-person design and gives it all-condition durability by adding a full fabric canopy, vents, and extra guyout points. Color-coded components make setup fast and easy and pre-bent poles give you more useable space inside if you need to hunker down and wait out a mountain storm.

The tent offers 32 square feet of space inside with a peak height of 42 inches. It stretches 88” long and is 54” wide at the shoulders. It tapers to 46” at the feet. Pre-bent poles make the tent walls more vertical than straight poles, giving you extra elbow room. Two doors make it easy for multiple residents to enter and exit. The dual vestibules yield nearly 18 combined additional square feet (9.8 and 7.8 square feet, respectively) of external space for wet gear and boots.

Internal storage pockets keep gear and clothes from winding up on the floor. One specially-designed pocket turns your headlamp beam into comfortable ambient light for reading or playing games.

The tent has a full fabric canopy, offering weather-worthy durability and warmth when you need it. The taped seams of the rainfly and floor keep you dry in wet weather. When the days are nice, you can use the mesh on the doors and the vents to let fresh air in while keeping the bugs at bay. The strong DAC Pressfit poles, clips and polyester rainfly are all color-coded to make setup fast and efficient.

The custom-fit Marmot Fortress 2P Footprint (sold separately) can be used to add further protection against mud, ground water, and sharp objects like rocks, exposed roots, and pine needles.
