Amazing Service

With hybrid leather and synthetic construction, an aggressive outsole, a waterproof/breathable lining, and a truly comfortable fit, the Men’s Bridger Low BDry hiking shoe proudly reflects the “true to the trail” motto of Oboz.

Description

With hybrid leather and synthetic construction an aggressive outsole a waterproof/breathable lining and a truly comfortable fit the Men's Bridger Low BDry hiking shoe proudly reflects the “true to the trail” motto of Oboz.

While the Nubuck full-leather upper delivers the support and stability you'd expect pliable forgiving materials around the heel deliver comfort and allow the shoes to break in faster than all-leather models. A BDry tape-sealed polyurethane bootie provides waterproof protection while still helping to breathe and wick sweat to keep you cool and dry. Fabric and metal hardware combine to give the Bridger Low BDry's lacing system excellent durability and fit adjustability. A wide toe box gives your foot some roominess where it's most likely to need it.

Under foot the boot's dual-density EVA foam and nylon shank provide comfortable cushioning flexibility and weight-hauling stability. A high-performance insole is a cut above what you'll find in most boots providing plush EVA foam under the heel and forefoot a shock-absorbing and stability-enhancing heel cup and arch support and moisture-wicking materials.

The rubber outsole has toothy traction-enhancing side lugs and 4mm directional lugs that provide confident footing on-trail or off. A lightweight TPU chassis enhances stability and helps absorb some of the impact of rocks and roots hat could otherwise lead to bruising.

The Oboz Men's Bridger Low BDry hiking shoe is available in men's full and half sizes.

  • The BFit Deluxe Insole stabilizes arches protects high-impact zones and costs nothing extra
  • TPU Chassis provides featherweight effective armor underfoot reducing stone bruising and torsional twist
  • Molded Heel Counter offers a snug heel hold
  • Oboz proprietary BDry membrane blocks water from wet trails while wicking sweat away

Good casual hiking shoes.

Likes

The looks are great overall, except instead of being gray like it looks on the site, it is a little green colored.

Dislikes

Little bit of a break in period. Slightly narrow.

Really protective hiking shoe

Likes

-amazing toe protection -Oboz classifies this as a "medium" volume shoe, but I found it plenty secure even for my low volume feet

Dislikes

-really heavy for a low hiker - men's size 12 weights roughly 20.5 oz. per shoe -heel wasn't comfortable for me - the back of my heel felt really sore when walking up inclines with these shoes on -had more trouble getting a locked down heel fit than with the firebrand ii, which has 7 eyelets per side, while the Bridger low has only 5 eyelets per side -The Bridger Low has a firmer underfoot feel than the Firebrand II. I was looking for something a little softer than the Bridger underfoot.

Good Design, solid build for (Hiking) performance Awesome Lugs Good Foot/Toe Protection

Dislikes

But...Requires Break-in, which was not the case with the mid-Hiker Bridger Oboz Boots I purchased...otherwise a 5 Star

Great shoes, but really stiff outsole

Likes

Comfortable and very sturdy for the weight. Love the Oboz insole; great value addition. Aggressive tread on the outsole and good traction. Overall a really good shoe for the trails.

Dislikes

The outsole is really stiff and dense. This is likely a plus in a lot of cases but for me I find that my legs and feet fatigue a bit faster with the shock from such a stiff outsole so could only give it 4 stars.
