Description

Constructed of a highly-durable abrasion-resistant material the MSR Dromedary Bag is an extremely rugged water reservoir. Laminated with food-grade polyurethane the BPA-free bag can handle freezing or boiling contents.

A wide-mouth closure cap makes the Dromedary Bag easy to fill or empty. A versatile design also allows you to drink straight from the cap and an included spout makes pouring efficient. Integrated handles make the bag easy to carry and sewn-in webbing enables you to conveniently hang up the bag or attach it to your pack.

The MSR Dromedary Bag is available in multiple size options.

  • Heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant 1,000D fabric can handle everything from freezing to boiling and is hydrophobic
  • Food-grade lining ensures better tasting water
  • Low-profile 3-in-1 cap lets you fill, drink, and pour with ease
  • Streamlined webbing and grommet locations improve pack attachment and hanging
  • BPA-free

Extremely Durable

Likes

Going to use the 6L bag to carry in water during a Badlands thru-hike. The bag is practically bombproof. I expect it to last decades of backpacking and camping.

Already have the 10L

Likes

Who wouldn’t appreciate the “Heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant 1,000D fabric that can handle everything from freezing to boiling”? The “hydrophobic Food-grade lining” ensures better tasting water. Obviously it’ll have that new bladder taste, but that’s part of life. The “Low-profile 3-in-1 cap” lets you fill, drink, and pour with ease, but it a little stiff at first. I would rather have it that way then leaking all over the place. The “Streamlined webbing and grommet locations improve pack attachment and hanging.” We actually did utilize this when we had to ditch the car. My husband graciously hung our 10L to the outside of his Gregory Baltoro.

Dislikes

We already have the 10L so I opted for a smaller size because it was on sale and my store credit was too tempting

Rugged it bag

Likes

Well-made bag does not leak. I did rinsed the bag around 10 times at home before using it out on the trail. Because other reviews said that the bag would smell and the water would taste bad. I did not have that problem on the trail. The purifier (MSR Guardian) water we put in the bag had a good taste and no smell.

Dislikes

Nothing yet only use it for 4 days on the trail.

Durable Water Storage

Likes

I generally don’t trust bladders but this is a breed apart. I like the durable exterior and multiple options for attaching inside or outside the pack.

Dislikes

Lid design needs some work. Tether gets in the way of unscrewing the nozzle and the lid isn’t captive to the bladder.
