Description

With a weight of only 2.6 ounces, a compact design, and a high heat output, the MSR PocketRocket 2 canister stove is a favorite of backpackers and thru-hikers.

The sturdy, efficient burner is capable of boiling water in as little as 3.5 minutes. An integrated control bar adjusts the flame from simmer to boil with ease. Serrated pot supports accommodate a broad range of cook pots (sold separately) and fold down to allow the stove to store conveniently in the included hard-sided case.

NOTE: The stove requires an MSR IsoPro fuel canister which is not included and is not available for purchase online.

  • Weighs a mere 73 g (2.6 oz.), keeping pack weight to a minimum
  • Folding pot supports pack down small; stove with case fits inside MSR Titan Cup (sold separately)

After a long day of hiking, a reliable stove is a key component to a hot meal. Though initially attracted to the low weight, I was truly impressed with its performance in wind, and it boiled water extremely quickly. This means less waiting and more time to enjoy a well-deserved meal! The folding pot supports are sturdy, and I can easily dial in the burner to a perfect simmer. This stove goes everywhere, whether I stop for a coffee break on a day hike or making dinner in the backcountry.

Works amazingly and packs down so small. Paired with my toaks 750ml pot, this is a dream set up.

Need to turn adjuster completely over before attaching fuel otherwise you will get more bleeding.

Stove is built extremely well. Fit and finish is good, and the product feels very solid for its weight (which is really light). This stove isn't as light weight as a brs stove, but it is built way better.

Weight is less than 3 ounces, stability arms fold inward, heat is more than enough, never failed for my morning coffee, just light the torch and change the flame output, relax and let that water boil.
