Get a wind shield, or make one. Not sure how long gas canisters will last. Time will tell.

What's not to love
Likes
Solid design, all parts feel sturdy, nothing is loose or wiggles. Packs up small and produces heat.

Great imporvement over last Pocket Rocket

The Pocket Rocket 2 is more compact than the previous model. The pot supports fold down and make it more compact than the previous model. The stove can fit into most integrated cook systems (I use the GSI Soloist). I personally like that the stove flame can be adjusted so that you can simmer or use a low flame when sautéing food.
Dislikes
Some people complain about the loud noise the stove makes. Personally I do not mind the noise but be aware that it is loud; hence the name rocket

Great backpacking stove

Small weight & size, but excellent power. Good quality construction. Ability to cook on multiple levels of heat

Have to fidget with the foldable potholder arms to get it to fit into the hardcase.
