Description

The MSR PocketRocket Deluxe builds on the foundation of the long-lived, award-winning PocketRocket canister stove, but adds a pressure regulator and a durable piezo igniter, all at a weight of just 2.9 ounces!

The integrated pressure regulator maintains stove’s fast boil times even in cold weather or with low fuel.

The reliable piezo-electric sparker makes for easy lighting with gloves or cold, numb fingers. The spark igniter is protected inside the burner. A broad burner improves wind resistance. Simmer-level control offers cooking versatility unexpected in such a tiny package.

The stove can boil a liter of water in an average of 3.5 minutes with the use of a canister of MSR IsoPro fuel. NOTE: The canister is not included and is not available for online purchase.

While my gear assortment changes a little for each trip, one constant thing in my bag is the MSR PocketRocket Deluxe. This handy little stove takes up a tiny amount of space in my pack, but holds a big spot in my heart. It’s simple to use, easy to maintain, and works super reliably. The stable supports accommodate different sized pots, and the foldable design makes it a breeze to put away when you’re done. While it’s not really designed to cook extravagant meals at basecamp, it works really well for boiling water and cooking simple single pot foods.

Great, Light Stove

Good stove - does everything I need it to do. Works fairly well in the wind and seems to go easy on the fuel consumption. Also very lightweight.

I does work just fine in windy condition. Also boils water fairly quick when used with MSR isopro fuel canister.

Dislikes

I do not like the mesh storage bag and would rather have a hard case, similar to the pocket rocket 2 case, to protect the stove.
