  • Custom-fit protection available to extend the life of the tent: The floor and rainfly of the tent are waterproof and further protected by taped seams. For added protection, NEMO encourages you to pick up the custom-fit NEMO Hornet 2P Footprint (sold separately).
  • Divvy Cube stuff sack offers carrying versatility: The rectangular stuff sack's modular design stows efficiently in your pack and even allows you to split the components and weight of the tent with a partner.

What makes the OSMO tent fabric so unique?
NEMO spent many years on the development of its OSMO tent fabric with a determination to improve greatly on sustainability without compromising on performance. The result is a fabric that uses only 100% recycled yarns with zero-PFC, zero-PFAs, and no added fire-retardant chemicals while also achieving significantly better water repellency, greatly reducing stretch when wet, and even improving on overall tear strength. The ultralight Hornet 2P is ideal for one hiker with room for gear, or a very cozy shelter for two. After sharing it a number of times with a partner, I generally prefer to take it out solo or with my trusty canine companion.The semi-freestanding design does require that the foot end is staked out to reach the full dimensions, so that is a factor in campsite selection but I've never found it limiting. The incredibly lightweight materials have withstood wind and rain when properly and carefully pitched, and the ventilation is impressive thanks to the shaoe of the rainfly at the head. I love taking this tent out for summer fastpacking adventures!

Nemo OSMO Ultralight 2 person tent

Likes

Amazing weight and packed Size. The inner tent has a distinct head end and foot end. The maximum pole segment length is 12″ making it easy to pack in a backpack or bicycle frame bag. I love the tent and would recommend it to my family and friends.
