The NEMO Switchback sleeping pad is constructed of nearly indestructible closed-cell foam with a metalized film coating to keep you warm without any concern for springing a leak. With no time spent blowing up or rolling down an air-filled pad, you’ll have more time on the trail.

The high-quality dual-density polyethylene foam is designed to provide reliable comfort despite being just over an 1" thick when in use. Closed-cell pads like this one are durable. There is no possibility of a puncture or other kind of leak. The Switchback's metalized, heat reflective surface returns body warmth back to you. This also makes it a versatile option for pairing with an inflatable or self-inflating pad (sold separately) in extremely cold temperatures.

The NEMO Switchback sleeping pad is available Short (52” x 20”) and Regular (72” x 20”) size options.

SImple to use

This is very simple to use and multi functional. No skill or experience required. I've used it at home as a kneeling pad, and a similar pad as a instant nap pad along the trail or in camp, and at least tried to use in a hammock in warm weather. I only say tried because it is a bit stiff for that purpose. Lighter than a self-inflatable if you are planning to use it as a second pad along with an inflatable pad on top.

Dislikes

Overly brightly colored, bulky, and not suitable for a side sleeper. Just don't do it - you will pay the price.
