This is very simple to use and multi functional. No skill or experience required. I've used it at home as a kneeling pad, and a similar pad as a instant nap pad along the trail or in camp, and at least tried to use in a hammock in warm weather. I only say tried because it is a bit stiff for that purpose. Lighter than a self-inflatable if you are planning to use it as a second pad along with an inflatable pad on top.
Dislikes
Overly brightly colored, bulky, and not suitable for a side sleeper. Just don't do it - you will pay the price.

As with all closed cell foam pads, no air leaks. Definitely not as comfortable as an inflatable, but if durability is the objective this is great. Can use in combination with my 3 season inflatable to create a comfortable 4 season option. Lighter than most inflatable options.
Dislikes
Not the most comfortable option, especially for side sleepers. Bulky enough that it must be packed on the outside of a pack.
