High tech meets tried and true in the new Oboz Men's Wind River III B-Dry hiking boot. Designed with an asymmetrical chassis to prevent ankle rolling and other smart features like integrated flex zones the boot hearkens back to the traditional with trusty waterproof nubuck leather construction and a rugged outsole with dual zone lacing.

While nubuck leather in the upper delivers the support and stability you'd expect a comfortable and abrasion-resistant textile collar couples with breathable mesh material beneath the laces to make the boot more supple than many of its competitors and also allows it to break in much more quickly. Oboz's B-Dry membrane provides waterproof protection while still helping to breathe and wick sweat to keep feet cool and dry. Fabric and metal hardware combine to give the lacing system excellent durability and fit adjustability and a wide toe box gives your foot some room where it's most likely to need it as you put miles behind you.

Under foot the boot's single density EVA foam forefoot cushioning combines with the asymmetrical TPU chassis that acts as an integrated shank and the cored-out PU heel pod to provide exceptional lateral support flexibility and weight-hauling stability. The high-performance O FIT insole is a cut above what you'll find in most boots providing plush EVA foam under the heel and forefoot a shock-absorbing and stability-enhancing heel cup and arch support that strives to place the foot in a healthy neutral position.

The rugged rubber outsole has deep 4.5mm directional lugs that provide confident footing on both uphills and downhills. A map of Wyoming's storied Wind River Range is fittingly molded into the bottom of the outsole.
