Equipped with confident traction, ample cushioning, and lightweight but durable hybrid construction, the Oboz Women’s Sawtooth II Low trail shoe is a highly-breathable option for performance-demanding female hikers who prefer a low cut shoe to a boot.

Description

Equipped with confident traction ample cushioning and lightweight but durable hybrid construction the Oboz Women's Sawtooth II Low trail shoe is a highly-breathable option for performance-demanding female hikers who prefer a low cut shoe to a boot.

The hybrid construction of Nubuck leather and high-tenacity fabrics makes the shoe's upper extremely durable abrasion-resistant and breathable. A 3D molded heel counter keeps your heel securely and comfortably held in place. This shoe also features an anatomically-designed asymmetrical collar to fit the real contours of your ankles for increased comfort.

Under foot the shoe's dual-density EVA foam and nylon shank provide comfortable cushioning flexibility and stability. A high-performance insole is a cut above what you'll find in most trail shoes providing plush EVA foam under the heel and forefoot a shock-absorbing and stability-enhancing heel cup and arch support and moisture-wicking materials.

The rubber outsole's aggressive mud-shedding tread and toothy traction-enhancing side lugs team up to provide confident footing on-trail or off.

The Oboz Women's Sawtooth II Low trail shoe is available in women's full and half sizes and your choice of color options.

Great, Possibly Size Up! 7 --> 7.5

Likes

Super comfortable, good arch support, great traction, laces are really easy to adjust. I haven't taken these out on the trail yet but am reviewing now to say you may want to go up half a size to accommodate your toes. I consistently wear a US Ladies size 7 with a semi-narrow foot, but despite the wider toe box, these just felt borderline too small. My toenails flair up and my number one problem with most shoes is that even slightest pressure on top of my large toenails builds up over time and eventually leads to pain and bruising. I went up to a 7.5 and these feels sooo much better. Given the easy but firm lacing system, I don't feel like I'm going to slide around in these. The Tradewinds color is surprisingly pretty. It's more of a slate blue-grey, whereas the photo looks more drab grey. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Enwild was very helpful in offering me shoe advice based on my needs :-)

Dislikes

Bit of a stiff ankle out of the box, but feels like they will break in fairly quickly.

Totally satisfied

I bought the shoes for my wife. She has been wearing mid height hiking shoes. She is very happy with this low cut shoes that are light but sturdy.

Dislikes

It looks like a men's hiking shoes.

Used to be roomier.

Likes

Sturdy shoe with good traction and stick. Heal fits well.

Dislikes

This newer version is much narrower in the midfoot and toe box so no longer works well for me. And for the new version after this one, Oboz made the sides a little higher around the ankle and dropped the loop on the tongue that you could pass laces through to keep it in place. Sadly, Oboz Sawtooth will no longer be my hiking shoe.

Run Small

Likes

I really was so focus on my toes starting to hurt I did not pay attention to other attributes.

Dislikes

I normally take a 7.5 in dress shoes but 8.5 in tennis shoes and hiking boots but from the reviews that said this show runs true to size I ordered an 8. They were too small.

Oboz Sawtooth II Low Trail Shoe

Likes

Very comfortable. It's nice to finally find a trail shoe that doesn't slide on my heel. Ample toe box area. The arch support is pretty good. I've worn them out a few times now and really like how they feel. True to size (7).

Dislikes

Nothing so far.
