This is a product that does exactly what it should Sheds the rain from soaking your pack. There are cheaper solutions but not perfectly tailored to your pack. I've used this in rain or if my pack had to sleep outside my tent, I'll toss the cover on to prevent the dew from soaking in outside.

Osprey rain cover

Looks durable and up to the task of keeping a pack dry. There are openings on the side edges near the draw sting to pass the hip straps through to conform the cover more securely to the pack.

Packs up really small easy to stuff into your pack. I opted for the rain cover so I could use a garbage bag as a pack liner.

A bit expensive but worth it for a pack cover that fits well.
