This is a product that does exactly what it should Sheds the rain from soaking your pack. There are cheaper solutions but not perfectly tailored to your pack. I've used this in rain or if my pack had to sleep outside my tent, I'll toss the cover on to prevent the dew from soaking in outside.

I think Osprey could include this with their packs.

Packs up really small easy to stuff into your pack. I opted for the rain cover so I could use a garbage bag as a pack liner.

A bit expensive but worth it for a pack cover that fits well.

Pricey, but it's pretty effective

It fits the Osprey Aether AG85 well and has kept the contents dry in a couple of rainy treks. It packs down really small and is lightweight to be sure. Haven't had it long enough to attest to its durability... So far, so good!

For the price of the Osprey pack, this really ought to be included at no extra charge, or at least deeply discounted. I'll probably line the inside of the pack with a trash compactor bag just to be on the safe side, so maybe buying the cover is overkill. But having dry stuff is worth going overboard I guess...

Nice and lightweight but as indicated in other reviews you sacrifice some durability with the thinner material.

Stows easily and compacts nice. Doesn't take up much space and will fit on pouches on my waist belt. Easy to deploy.
Dislikes
Thinner material may not hold up to much off trail or hiking through thick vegetation.
