The boot's synthetic upper offers durability and out-of-the-box comfort. A tall cuff with an insulated collar extends protection. A waterproof membrane and 400g Thinsulate insulation join forces to keep your foot warm and dry. A 4mm EVA foam sockliner enhances fit warmth and comfort.

A non-marking Winter Contagrip outsole delivers enhanced traction and employs a rubber compound that improves traction on icy surfaces.

nearly perfect boot

This boot is warm and comfortable. There is plenty of room in the toe box ..even for my wide foot. I can feel the athletic shoe technology when I hike in them and this was something I was looking for in a boot. The sole is grippy on winter terrain BUT still quite slippery on ice. So just be a bit careful. Overall I really like these boots and would buy them again.

Dislikes

The big disappointment about this boot is it does not seem to be completely waterproof. However, my feet are never cold or completely soaked either ..so i am not giving them back. The last wish I have is that they would have added a pull tab to each boot for easier on and off.
