Designed especially for 3-season backpacking, the Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Insulated Mat offers a 4”-thick sleeping base, has a 3.2 R-Value, and weighs just a few ounces over a pound. An innovative pump sack makes inflation fast and easy.

Interconnected chambers formed by a dot-welded pattern, the pad’s unique Air Sprung Cells create a supportive sleeping base that better conforms to your sleeping body than traditional vertical or horizontal baffles.

Dual thermal technologies equip the pad for use in colder temperatures. A lightweight, non-woven metalized fabric, Exkin Platinum prevents convective heat loss. This pliable fabric is also quieter than some “crinklier” fabrics used to achieve heat reflectivity. A layer of Thermolite insulation adds enhanced warmth.

A stand-out feature on Sea to Summit pads is the low-profile multi-function valve. A one-way design allows for fuss-free inflation and an internal button lets you make micro adjustments to firmness. A larger port beneath the top portion of the valve makes deflation quick and easy. Additionally, by setting flush to the surface of the pad, the valve also cuts down on potential warranty issues. A pump sack is built into the included stuff sack, making inflation easy and keeping moisture out of the interior of the pad.

The Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Insulated Mat is available in your choice of Regular (72" x 21.5”), Regular Rectangular (72" x 25"), Large (78" x 25"), and Large Rectangular (78" x 25") size options.

Like sleeping on a cloud

I have the same pad in the uninsulated version. I love that pad and the feeling is the same for this pad. It rolls down small and you barely notice it in your pack. Set up and take down took no time at all. It's super easy to inflate and deflate. The included pump sack works really well. No more blowing up the pad by mouth or some sort of trail hack using some rubber hose pieces and a garbage bag. It's fairly quiet to sleep on, although the insulation makes it a little louder than the uninsulated pad. I've had this pad in temps as low as the low 30's and was super warm. I'm not a light guy (5'11" 250lbs) and I'm a side sleeper. My hips haven't bottomed out once while using this pad.

I honestly don't have any. It's slightly louder than the uninsulated pad, but it's barely noticable.

Realistic Comfort

- Excellent comfort, especially for side sleepers - Inflate/deflate valve is easy to use - Stuff sack doubles as an inflation bag - The pillow lock feature works fantastically with S2S pillows (no more chasing your pillow around the tent!)

- Lower R value when compared to similar priced air pads

The right balance between weight and comfort

highly packable/lightweight, comfortable, stuff sack makes it very easy to inflate

a little crinkly sounding, which is to be expected
