Comfortable to sleep

Light weight and comfortable when going to sleep. Also, it is keeping me warm as the weather is getting very cold.

Perfect weight to warmth

At 12 oz with a 5.4 r-value, this is pretty unbeatable. I took this along for a week doing the Southern Sierra High Route and it performed perfectly. Nights dropped to just above freezing and I was quite cozy under my quilt -- no chill at all coming from the ground. I'm 5'10", and yes, this is a bit short and narrow. A quilt helps, as I can use straps to keep from sliding off. Might take a bit of practice for more restless sleepers to adjust. When I go ultralight, just a torso pad doesn't quite work for me -- this is a perfect compromise. The wing-lock valve works well, and the pump sack is a nice addition. I also think complaints about how crinkly and loud the pad is are way overblown -- it's not that bad! And it def didn't keep my hiking buddies awake.

The pump sack isn't waterproof, which seems like a missed opportunity. If it were, I could use it as a dry sack and justify bringing it along when ounce-counting. As is, it's not worth the weight.

Light and Comfortable

I am 172.7cm tall and needed a pad that didn't add much weight to my already heavy pack but still was easy to roll up and shove into the bottom. To which this fit the bill. I sleep soundly as a side sleeper on it and it keeps me warm and off the ground even in rocky areas. Though a heads up, if you backpack with a dog I would recommend setting this up and putting your sleeping bag over it before your pup gets into the tent as the material seems thin enough that one of my pups nails could puncture it.

Good for smaller men too

This pad is a little smaller, warmer, and lighter than the men's regular. I am male 5' 6-7" 155lbs. and was looking for a little added warmth while maintaining light weight. This pad is easy to inflate (esp. with the included pump-sack), seems fairly warm that you can feel immediately, and very lightweight and comfortable. As a side sleeper, I am not bottoming my hips or shoulder out at all. I also like the no-bounce or sag factor, which helps prevent a backache. So far, I like just about everything with this pad except the narrow width. The color is standard Xlite yellow and not gender-specific.
Dislikes
Only downside is the pad is fairly narrow. As a side sleeper, the trick is to sleep zig-zag: scooch your rear close the back edge, knees close to the front edge, and so forth in a zig-zag fashion. This also creates room for your arms in the front and side without them laying on the ground. The length is short, but sleeping zig-zag your feet won't be hanging off and everything is cushioned. Would be perfect for someone 5'3", but works up to 5'7" with some innovation. With a larger pillow or stuff sac, one could even put your head above the pad for even more stretch-out room. It is definitely longer than the 4-foot model. The pad is a little loud as expected for an Xlite, but the same as any other NeoAir Xlite, and quieter then the original Xlite model.

So warm and toasty!

Recently took it out and camped in the middle of a snowy field. Stated warm and cozy all night. It is definitely a little blue, but more than worth it overall!
