Description

Specifically designed for cost-conscious, ounce-counting backpackers, the Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite Sol is a super compact, closed-cell foam pad. Dual density foam provides a soft sleeping surface and a durable bottom while a heat-reflective coating directs heat back to your body for increased warmth.

A compact accordion-style design makes the Z-Lite Sol quick and easy to pack. The egg carton pattern enhances comfort and traps air underneath your sleeping bag, providing extra warmth. The thermal reflective barrier helps you retain heat while bouncing cold surface air back to the ground. This also makes the Z-Lite Sol a great option for pairing with another inflatable or self-inflating pad (sold separately) for maximum warmth and comfort in snow or cold weather.

The Therm-a-Rest Z-Lite Sol is available in Small (20" x 51" x 0.75") and Regular (20" x 72" x 0.75") size options.

You see this trail staple everywhere for a reason: it's virtually indestructible and incredibly versatile. I lash this to the outside of my pack when hiking for easy access and always have a soft, dry place to sit during a break or while cooking dinner. I place it under my inflatable sleeping pad for a little extra protection and warmth, yet have spent over a hundred nights sleeping on it alone. My pup even curls up on it if she gets to it first. I couldn’t imagine hiking anywhere without the trusty Z-Lite!

Not the best choice for me

Likes

I like the color and the warmth rating, but I bought two sleeping pads and decided this one was not the best choice for me.

Dislikes

I decided to keep the Klymit Static V Lightweight Sleeping Pad over this one, simply because it took up less storage space.
