Nice, but bulky
Likes
The Z lite is a warm pad, light, and cannot pop like inflatable pads.
Dislikes
Not wide enough, not padded enough. I have owned several of these pads. This one got returned. They are bulky.

One of the best budget and versatile close cell foam pad
Likes
Light weight, good warmth to weight ratio, easy to pack, durable, versatile; use it as a sit pad and also can be used as a extra layer to insulate in the winter
Dislikes
Compared to air pads not enough cushion

Good Pad for hikers on the move
Likes
Easy fold for quick deployment and pack up. Gives enough cushion and protection from the floor.
Dislikes
Obviously not as cushy as a air mattress... but good enough without the hassle of having to blow air and deflate.

A reason it’s a classic

It works. Lightweight. Do yourself a favor and get a cover of some sort. Like most things, this doesn’t like getting scratched.

Great pad. Exactly what you expect.

As comfortable as you're going to get from a lightweight foam pad. Good down to cool temperatures. Durable and holds cushion well.

Great product

Lightweight and comfortable for this type of pad

When I use it, it means I couldn’t find a spot to hang my hammock and I had to “go to ground.” I always dislike that! Seriously though, it’s a great product. No other dislikes.

Light, tough, moderate insulation

These things are indestructible. That's a big plus when you consider that a "popped" air-based sleep pad is a REAL bummer on the trail. They provide modest cushioning (although to get more with an air pad you have to go WAY up on weight) and insulation.

Light weight yet warm, comfortable, and durable

At 70 plus years, 200 pounds, and 6 ft, I find the Z-Lite adequate for warmth, comfort, and dependability during my outdoor overnight adventures whether on the ground or in my hammock. Little wonder it has been a favorite of long distance hikers (sure, they're mostly young and lighter weight than I am, so they likely enjoy or endure it all the more, especially for its dependable durability). It's also my choice for a light-weight pack load since there's always a chance of having to go to ground with a hammock and needing an adequate pad. Further, since one straps this guy onto your pack, it's quick to use as a sit pad or for a nap at breaks and lunch stops (and later around the campfire) with no worries of puncture.
Dislikes
Side sleeping on the ground might encourage you to sleep on your back instead - this isn't a 2-3" pad... but side sleeping in a hammock is no problem. The only downside is simply the bulk of any CCF pad, forcing either cutting to a shorter length for a bit more compact and lighter carry or just strapping the pad on your pack as it is at the expense of not looking so streamlined with everything tucked nicely in your pack.
