Ultimate Direction Mountain Vest 4.0 (Closeout) Running Hydration Vest

A reflection of mountain adventurer/ultra runner Anton Krupicka’s minimalist approach to alpine and backcountry exploration, the Ultimate Direction Mountain Vest 4.0 incorporates the hydration and storage features you truly need while skipping anything extraneous. The end result is a great-fitting pack that keeps essentials close at hand while provide free movement to go far and long.

Constructed of lightweight SilNylon and breathable mesh, the vest weighs in at just 9.24 ounces (without bottles). To ensure a proper fit, the vest is available in Small (23"-32" chest measurement), Medium (30”-29”), and Large (37"-46") size options. NOTE: When full of gear, the vest will fit smaller. An integrated Comfort Cinch system provides on-the-go fit adjustability across the small of your back without applying undue pressure to your lats. Dual sternum straps with sliding adjustability help you further fine-tune fit.

The main compartment offers 810 cubic inches of storage for a lightweight shell or other gear. It can also carry a 2L hydration system (system sold separately). On the chest portion of the harness there are twin water bottle pockets which conveniently secure soft-sided or hard-sided water bottles. Ultimate Direction includes two soft-sided Body Bottles, each with a 500 ml capacity. Other features include phone-compatible harness pockets, zippered lateral side pockets, a rear bungee attachment system, and dual ice axe loops. An integrated rear attachment system allows you to carry poles in a horizontal fashion that reduces "bounce" and keeps poles at the ready but out of your way.
