It's a pot holder

Likes

Bigger than it looks like in the picture.

Dislikes

Would be cool to have a way of attaching it to my cook-pot handle. Like a keyring or clip. Easy to lose this if not always put back in the same place.

It is very compact and light. Has a magnet to stick to your pot lid for easy access. Fits easily in your cook kit.

May be a bit small for someone with big fingers

Light and a good insulator.

Dislikes

It was just too small for me. I don't have big fingers and it was really difficult for me to use it.

I didn't find this item as useful as some of the other reviewers. I use a Titanium pot and lid, so the magnetic feature was of no use. I had to get right up to the pot to grab the rim which is a little dicey when the alcohol stove is still burning.

Dislikes

I actually purchased the Open Country Clamp Handle (Item #OPC401) and found this to be a bit more versatile. Read the reviews on this item for more information.

The GSI Microgripper is brilliant! I first used my friends Microgripper last spring while in the Linville gorge and I knew I had to have one. I was finally able to locate one at Backcountry Edge. The Microgripper makes it quick and easy to grab my pot of boiling water and pour a cup-o-joe without burning my fingers. The integrated magnet allows it stick to the lid of my cook pot. (I use it as a "knob" for the lid.) The M.gripper is very useful and i would highly recommend it highly!

Dislikes

The Microgripper must be laid on a clean place to prevent debris from getting into your pot.

Perfect little grippers to protect fingers when picking up lightweight hot edges. Will use camping and for microwave at home. Good quality, fit nicely on my large-for-a-woman fingers. Ridges on gripping surfaces great to prevent slipping.

Dislikes

I don't see anything wrong with this product.

Lightweight.

Not bad. But, when this is used, be careful for your finger to touch the pan or pot surface because of the tiny lip.
