Description

Extend your outdoor activities with the Petzl Actik CORE headlamp, which is perfect for backcountry hiking, mountaineering, or trail running. Equipped with a high-output rechargeable battery, this compact headlamp has an output of up to 600 lumens.

The headlamp has a single push button for quick and easy operation that allows you to choose between beam patterns, power settings, and light colors. In addition to the white LED there is also a red LED mode so you can maintain your night vision when using the light. A red strobe setting can be used for emergencies. A hinge on the housing enables you to aim the headlamp's beam where you need it most. An adjustable, reflective headband offers maximum support and nighttime safety.

The headlamp is powered by the included Core Rechargeable Battery but can also be used with standard AAA batteries (sold separately), making it more versatile than many rechargeable headlamps. It can be locked for storage by pressing and holding the power button, and the included storage pouch transforms the headlamp into a lantern when in camp.

Available in your choice of color options, the Petzl Actik CORE Headlamp is water-resistant and suitable for all-weather use.

  • Battery charge indicator shows the battery level each time lamp is turned on or off
  • Rechargeable via the type B micro USB port
  • Useful phosphorescent reflector for locating the lamp in the dark
  • Lock function prevents the lamp from turning on during transit or storage
  • Detachable, washable headband that is symmetrical for easy adjustment
  • Reflective headband to remain visible at night
  • Storage pouch allows it to be transformed into a lantern
  • HYBRID CONCEPT design: Actik CORE comes with the CORE rechargeable battery and also works with three AAA/LR03 batteries (not included) and automatically detects the energy source and adjusts lighting performance

I love my Actik CORE. Dislikes

Taking it out of the package, theft proof, but also customer proof. But once removed, all is good. Instructions not the best. Red night, tricky to turn on

The headband is adjustable, secure, does not slip. The light can be adjusted up or down to the chosen angle. The low-medium-high beams adjust easily. Low will last the longest before recharging, high the shortest but still has acceptable duration. The beam is wide enough to illuminate a good length and depth of any pathway. Glad I purchased this. It is handy for walking from the garage to house at night, frees up my hands to carry bags or find keys.
