Overall great bag

Light and packable. Really warm. The quilt opening and for vent are nice features.

The quilt top could be a little bit larger.

Everything I hated about other bags is fixed

There are no zippers, not many pull cords, and the quilt portion of this bag is the perfect size for me to wrap up in. I hated other bags because of the way I usually sleep, there were always zippers and pull cords in my face, making it very uncomfortable. The sleeping pad sleeve is also a game-changer, I move a lot in my sleep, so it keeps the pad right where I need it. The opening for the feet is also great, makes it easy to put on socks quickly while your feet are still warm without having to fully get out of the bag.

The color is not my favorite, but women's gear - what can you do?

Warm as HECK, sleeping pad sleeve is everything

Used it just below freezing with a Klymit insulated pad and it stayed perfectly in place overnight. My toes were freezing before I got into the bag no matter how many jumping jacks and jogging in place sets I did, but they warmed up to nice and toasty in just a few minutes. The sleeping pad sleeve made it super easy to stay ON the pad overnight which is a godsend because that DROP Klymit design is unreasonably skinny. I lost the stuff sack (totally my fault, I was packing in a rush) and I didn't even need it because this thing compresses down so easily in the bottom of my pack (keep it dry by using a plastic bag liner or just a regular ol plastic bag). I love not having a zipper, I always get them stuck no matter how much they design them not to catch. It was too cold overnight to NOT stay completely tucked in, but I could see how that would be really nice in summer camping situations or at lower altitudes. Same with the zipperless foot pocket thing. I used it to help me maneuver my sleeping pad within the tent when i was starting to slide but didn't want to get out of the bag. It will definitely be nice to cool off with that in warmer weather. Hood kept my pillow perfectly in place which is great because I like to stomach sleep and it makes me drool like crazy so I need a pillow to keep me from drooling on the bag (ew, I know but I'm being honest!). Zipperless folding design makes it easy to sit up, not leave the bag, and make and drink coffee in the morning. Granted I also have an older Sierra Designs tent with a porch awning instead of door vestibule so it's really really easy to do all that with a great view too.

My sleeping pad is stupid skinny so with the uninsulated back of the bag, side sleeping can get cold if I accidentally have the uninsulated back a little bit too far off the edge of my skinny but insulated pad. Hood is a little small so it's good for keeping the pillow in place, but it was a real struggle to get my head in there with the pillow. I like to sleep on my right side because I have a lot of ear piercings on my left, but it's harder to keep the foldover tucked in when sleeping on my right because it opens from the left.

Love it!

I love the design of this sleeping bag. I especially like how it attaches to my sleeping pad so it doesn't roll around.

It's not as cushy as my polyster fill sleeping bag.

GREAT sleeping bag

Exactly what I was looking for. I took this on my first camping trip of the season last weekend and it did not disappoint. I love that I have the ability to open it up like a quilt when it's warm and cinch it up like a mummy bag when it's cold. I also love having the option to kick my feet out if I'm too warm.

Fits perfectly as a 5'8" male. Versatile bag, I look forward to testing the warmth in shoulder seasons.

The attached stuff sack is annoying, so do yourself a favor and cut it off so you can save time and effort when stuffing.

I have used this bag 3 times for camping in Oregon rain, snow and sun and down to about 40 degrees. Fluffy as heck. Blanket works wonderfully for tucking in and getting cozy or opening up to cool off. Compressed well. A few things I dislike but overall have found it to be cozy and warm and I love the blanket flap - its perfect.

I am 5'-6 and the women's is just barely long enough for me. if you are taller get the mens size. The widest point of the bag below the blanket is also the widest point of a woman's body and to be honest its a little snug. If the seams in that part of the bag were stretchy (like my other SD bag) then it would be wonderfully comfortable. There is a small area under your back with no insulation. I can live with it but if you change positions while sleeping this are will end up exposed and you get a little cold. All you have to do is wake up and change positions again, but its unrealistic to think its worth saving weigh by eliminating that insulation. We cant all just lie still while sleeping strapped to the sleeping pad. If the bag were really roomy you might be able to roll around inside the bag without exposing the back - but its not - its a modified mummy and is close fitting. One last thing - the pad sleeve fits 20" only. So if you have a bigger pad you cannot be strapped in without modifications.
